Enough for what? 20 mins of any exercise is great for your health but won't turn you into an Olympic athlete/supermodel.

I would be wary of repetitive movements fir a long time. Too much strain on the joints.

I think varying your routine would be better.

Enough to see results I guess , wanting to tone up get holiday ready 😁

What's your starting point? "Toning" is just another way of saying "lose fat and gain muscle".

Gwdihooooo · 26/01/2023 16:29

I think it’s an expensive looking gimmick

If you want to "tone up" you need to burn fat and build muscle. 20min of strenuous cardio a day would have very little impact on burning fat unless you also eat to a calorie deficit (and this isn't strenuous cardio) and you're only using a small range of muscles repetitively so not going to build much there.
Have you still got the receipt?

florenceandthemac · 26/01/2023 19:50

It won't really "tone you up". And 20 mins a day won't really be enough, but 20 mins is better than doing nothing else.
You need to be doing full body strength workouts in order to build muscle, and some cardio to lose weight in order to see the muscle, which is what toning up is in effect

Sorry, just realised I've repeated what two others have said

Yarrawonga · 26/01/2023 19:54

I’d recommend taking it back, getting a refund and use the money for gym membership.

Stellaris22 · 26/01/2023 22:03

Any form of exercise is great, but doing the same thing every day will get boring and repetitive. In my experience exercise is given up when it's no longer interesting. It's why I find a gym membership a much better investment, that way you can find out what you like without wasting money on home equipment.

If you want to build muscle you need weights and proper workouts, not a quick fix.

I brought one just as lockdown hit as an alternative to running and walking and then started working from long hours so all of these things flew south until lock down lifted .
After lockdown shifted i took early retirement at 59 dusted it off and used it as an incentive for my summer holiday .
Never looked back follow the video for. few weeks to get the swing of it then turn her off and do it to your own music .
After 5 weeks i noticed that my huge arse thighs and stomach were starting to tone nicely as it was working on my inner core my menopause apron was also toning and lifting like most exercise machines you can’t target an area but it’s an over exercise plan that’s great if you stick to it ,just do your own diet
