Best "couch to..." app for returning to running

I haven't run for a couple of months sue to sickness.
Have run marathons in past, these days it's a regular 10k on the weekend plus another in the week and some body weight exercises.
I'm prone to injury so don't want to jump straight back into it.
Nhs couch-5k app looks great but it takes 9 weeks to get to 5k 😵‍💫
I want to do it in about a month to get back to fitness.
Any apps that let you select the length of programme? Preferably free!

The C25k podcasts are permanently on my phone. I've often gone back to them if I need a boost out of a rut. Sometimes I'll pick up at a later stage like week 5 when the running blocks stretch out, sometimes I'll fast track through with one run of each type.

I've only done it thouroughly once since my original go which was due to injury. If it's more that well established habits have slipped and you need a mental boost, and to pick up from a reasonable base of fitness, fast-forwarding through the early stages/ repeat runs should be fine.

Exactly, you can use C25K just cut in at week 4/5/6.

Or, the Nike Run Club app has all sorts of guided runs including “haven’t run in a while” runs. Very chatty and American though. Lots of empowerment 😁
