Winter running leggings with side pockets

Yep, another leggings thread - but I am hard to please 😁.

I want some winter running leggings with side phone pockets, not compression, high waisted, squat proof (I do outdoor strength training too).

The ones are have are Sweaty Betty Therma (excellent but pricey) and Decathlon Runwarm (fine, brilliant value, but do bobble and sag a little - I'd like something a bit nicer as wear gym kit a lot).

I'd like something in between the two price-wise! Am befuddled by choice. And also sizing - I am a 10-12 but a S in SB and Decathlon as top-heavy, so if anyone can translate that into another recommended brand would be great.

I have this pair from Ronhill and it's very comfortable for this time of the year.

How about the SB but via vinted to take the sting out of the cost?

@FusionChefGeoff , yes, I keep an eye there and on ebay, got some powers BNWT but not therma. I don't really want worn gym kit.

Have you tried Sturdy by Design? Bright funky patterns, winter ones apparently very cosy, I have two standard pairs and they're lush.
Disclaimer, the types I have don't have full side pockets, just one rear one which just about fits my phone, but iirc the new models have side pockets you can fit your phone in?

I am 6' tall, so I use the Tall length and they're great. I'm a size 14-16 on bottoms and I have a comfy, roomy XL and also squeeze into a L. The L pair isn't 'revealing' when bending squatting etc but the pattern fades/greys out, if you know what I mean?

I haven't got the plain ones, but the pattern ones I would describe as shiny. Like standard lycra leggings.

I just use my riding leggings, most have 2 side pockets. And most brands (surprisingly as nearly anything for equine use doubles the price) cheaper than decent brand running gear.

Flanci or Tikiboo, Flanci do a thicker winter fabric in some of their designs.

Thanks all. I got a 50% off my favourite Sweaty Betty therma boost (side and back pocket, fleecy lining) yesterday so am sorted for now, but will keep an eye out for all these makes.
