Beginner Online Pilates

After another issue with my back, I really need to start doing some pilates to get some core strength going. I used to do it years ago but haven't and my exercise regime since giving birth 14 months ago has been pretty awful.

I would love to go to actual classes but around here they are so expensive so I'm looking for some ideas for beginners online lessons - are there any instrcutors/classes that you can recommend (links would be fab!).

Thanks!

I’ve recommended her before but I really enjoy Lottie Murphy on YouTube. She has several videos aimed at different levels and different body areas. She doesn’t upload very much anymore as she has her own app, which I haven’t used so can’t comment on but I love her calm, accessible style and the workouts can be really challenging too.

Google Claire Louise pilates. She does live online classes but also has moovness, where you can access as many of her videos, as often as you like for 9.99 per month. Lots of beginner videos. She's excellent

Second Lottie Murphy - we started with the free youtube ones and my dh then subscribed to her paid channel.

She is excellent, really good range, thoughtful approach, challenging, calm.

I follow "The Girl with the Pilates Mat" Rachel Lawrence on YouTube. She has loads of free classes for different abilities - beginner/intermediate/advanced and lots of ones dedicated to different parts of the body. Short ones (10/20minutes) longer ones (30 -40 minutes) , with/without equipment.

She also does live sessions a couple of times a week, with a live chat afterwards when you can ask her anything about Pilates etc. Her online classes are free to use but she does have a no obligation donation system which keeps her channel running. I do about 2-4 sessions a week depending on which part of my is giving me gyp on the day! 😉
