Can I get a Parkrun time if I don't have a printer?

I'm hoping someone will tell me they can scan a barcode from my phone. I've never done a parkrun but would like to give it a try.

Thanks.

it was a while ago now but I got a rubber bracelet thing with my barcode on. I think back then phones didn’t work but they’ve probably moved on now!

Yes you can get it on your phone, I forgot my barcode one time and they showed me how to get it on my phone.

Phone barcodes are now accepted. They couldn't be read reliably on the old scanners but all runs now use the app and can cope with it.

As regular parkrunners, we have printed wristbands. The funds raised through parkrun products go back into supporting parkrun. It's useful for DS2 to have medical information printed on his too.

It's also possible to put a barcode on a garmin face!

A better look around the parkrun website shows me I can buy wristbands, cards etc so I may do that if we become regulars. The Garmin face is really interesting...will have a better look!

I scanned off my phone this weekend no problem.

Just take it on your phone, it’s not a problem now. I haven’t used anything else since the rules changed to allow it.

If you go to dfyb.run you can generate a parkrun barcode for your Apple wallet. There is also an app that tracks your parkrun times and events called 5k that also has your barcode. A screen shot is also fine.
