Reebok trainers for c25k

I used to run a fair but and found Brooks ghost trainers suited me best. I haven't run for a couple of years so starting back with c25k. I was going to invest in a new pair of Brooks but came across what seem to be an OK pair of Reeboks at about a third of the price! Reviews seem good but they seem very low tech by comparison to the bells and whistles of the more running focused brands. I use a pair of reeboks for gym classes and general wear so I know they are comfortable but wasn't sure about support, etc for higher impact. Anyone have any experience?

I would not buy any trainers for running without going to a running shop and being fitted. And I have no foot issues.

once you have forked out shop price for the pair- you can then reorder your next pair cheaply on sportsshoes.

i don’t know anyone who runs in reebok. I don’t think they are known for proper running gear

That's what I thought, I guess I'll invest in my usual Brooks.

Can you share a link to the specific shoe?

I clicked thinking a pair of reeboks was £25 000 😂

My most recent purchase was Nike Flyknit support shoes. Really comfortable and cheap because they were not the latest version.

Actually the specific running Reebok's are well regarded, not sure of the latest lines. My OH and son run for an athletics club and both have floatrides. They are not the only ones in the club with them. They are good value every day training shoes. I have a pair myself but a bit old now so don't wear them much. Admittedly we all have better quality shoes (Brooks, Saucony and Nike) for racing, trail or long runs. But they are more than adequate for couch 2 5k.
Ben Parkes in YouTube has done a review of them and he reviews a lot of shoes if you want to see his thoughts.
