I do no strength training and an pretty unfit. I tried Caroline Girvan beginners and couldn’t walk for three days.
is there something similar like Joe Wicks which I can build on and do a little every day?
thank you!

If you can afford it, book a few sessions with a PT you will learn how to lift properly and they can show you how to adapt exercises so you don't strain yourself/pull muscles. I've lost 7stone and have learned to embrace exercise as well as being sooooo much fitter

If you are really unfit maybe start using resistance bands rather than weights. Whatever you go you will find you ache.....it's normal at first if you have been inactive. It's called DOMS and is your body repairing the microtears in your muscles. You'll still experience that with a PT if you are seriously unfit but a good one should modify the intensity.

If you don't want a PT, what about classes (Les Mills can be intense for a beginner) but most local leisure centres have a strength and tone type class .....that could be a good way to pick up the basics that you could replicate at home.

I’m lying on my sofa exhausted after doing one of Caroline’s workouts.

I love them and she has so many different levels and classes.

maybe you could just do 20 minutes of them and build up strength?

I’ve really noticed my legs and arms getting toned with her classes.

I managed a whopping 6 minutes of a beginner workout of hers and my legs were like jelly for 3 days afterwards, the pain was awful 😳 I am incredibly unfit.

Following for any tips!

Look up Stronglifts 5x5 - it's for beginners. I'm on it and I love it!
