Weighted hola hoop?

Has anybody done a concerted effort with a weighted hula hoop? Just watched a daft TikTok style video but am sorely tempted, have lost a little weight but really could do with toning up my midriff.
Any recommendation on where to buy would be appreciated too please

Also hoping for an answer to this!

I got one from Flying Tiger, and either i got a duff one or they're useless (kept coming apart)

I have one from Avon. Not sure if they still do them.

I use a weighted hula hoop - no idea where it came from though as my husband bought it years ago! Doesn't come apart to the point I have to store it intact and fall over it frequently :)

I stick my music on and go for it - I've managed to get up to about 20 mins non stop. You will get bruises on your hips the first few times but after that, it's fine. I've always found the easiest way is to rock front to back rather than trying to do the sort of wild swinging round in a circle you do as a kid.

I do feel a difference in core strength because It's quite an effort to keep it going for an extended period.

I bloody love hula-hopping, as does my mother. We both have had weighted hoops for years. They’re very good.

It definitely keeps your waist toned - assuming you are able to keep it up. I know not everyone finds it easy.

Unfortunately, I’ve had to stop as it aggravates my interstitial cystitis so now it’s in 2 parts and serves as a boundary for my eufy!
