Can anyone explain to me in simple terms how the move calories work on an Apple Watch.

So if I have say 581/290kcal and then underneath it says 36 calories. What exactly does it all mean?

Sorry if I am appearing a bit thick !

Can you post a picture? Can't envisage where the 36 is

Your move target must be 290kcal. So if you are doing 581 you are easily meeting it

You can change your targets by scrolling down in the round circles bit and going to 'change goals' which is at the bottom

Ah think you are looking on your phone not your watch?

So the 581/290 - 290 is your goal/target and then 581 are your active calories today via exercise largely I think. The light grey, your 35- the graph is divided into 15 mins and 35 is the highest cals you've achieved in 15 mins

The red number underneath is total calories burned

That's what I think but I may be wrong!!
