I've had a Fitbit Charge 4 for about a year. I change the strap fairly regularly as I prefer a leather strap for daily wear but the plastic strap for sweaty exercise.
The connectors for the strap have sheared off the Fitbit unit entirely making the watch unwearable. It looks like it's out of warranty so I'm a bit stuck.
Doing a bit of research this seems to be a common complaint with the charge 4. The connectors are plastic instead of metal as with the Charge 2.
Does anyone have another Fitbit model, 5 or other, and can tell me if the connectors are metal and thus more durable? Or other suggestions for decent fitness trackers.
