Finished 30 Day Shred - now what?

I’ve got used to only doing 20min routines and feel like anything much longer than 30 mins would bore me stupid. Would 3x HIIT sessions a week be enough to keep me fit??

If so, can anyone please recommend any - must include weights. Bonus points if it’s free! And something with lots of variety!

Not free but not that expensive - have you thought about downloading the Jillian Michaels "My fitness" app? If you liked 30 day shred, she has loads of different programmes on there and they are also customisable (so you can select how much time you have, what equipment you have available etc). I do her 30 min workouts 3-4 times per week and then do cardio another 1-2 days. I wouldn't say I'm an ultra fit athlete but I am reasonably fit and toned.

Great thank you. I was looking at her app. Just thought I’d like to exhaust all the free options first before I pay for anything! 😁

Fair enough. I think she still offers a free 2 week trial so maybe give it a go? I loved 30 day shred and was also unsure what else to do afterwards, I've been a regular My Fitness subscriber for several years now and personally I think it's awesome. Especially since it means I can exercise at home and adjust the amount of time, intensity etc to suit what I need.

Good plan - there are so many free option, if I’m going to pay for one, I want to make sure it’s something I enjoy and will actually do!
Keep hearing about Tracey Anderson too - do MNers think she’s good? Does she do loss is HIIT and weights too?

I did Les Mills On Demand in the lockdowns. You do have to pay for it but there are usually free trials or offers, and the annual subscription is really good value I think. Loads of HIIT both with weights and without, excellent core programme, combat is brilliant fun, loads of variety, and I used to really lose myself in the classes - you really feel you are in them. Also dance, stretching, body balance etc. They edit the filmed classes to different lengths, and there are good hybrid classes as well where they have joined several together.

I think it is a good idea to find one programme (whether paid or free) and stick to it.

Had very little time this morning so I did one of the free 7 minute workouts on the JM app. Loved it - each exercise is so quick, I didn’t have time to get bored. Think I’ll try doing 3 x different ones per session, 3-4 times a week and see how I go.
