Can anyone recommend an at home workout?

Hopefully one that will change my body shape within 3 months 😬

I’ve been intermittently doing apple fitness+, which I actually do like but I’m tightening the purse strings so cancelled my subscription.

What’s a good free workout? Or dvd?

I tried 30 day shred a few years ago but didn’t get very far before I buggered up my knee (should I retry?). Also have a Davina fit in 15 but find her and the other two very irritating.

I love Les Mills on demand, but its £10 a month. I've done it through lockdown etc though and its fabulous. I do body balance most mornings before work. Has sorted out my back, my knees and my overall body shape and tone.

I did the free body weight workouts on an app called 'boost camp' over lockdown. The app is very easy to use & the work outs were good www.boostcamp.app/fit-at-every-size-with-morit

I’d suggest the 30 Day Shred again as it’s quick and effective, but don’t rush up through the levels (I only tried level 3 once and didn’t enjoy it - the first 2 levels were effective enough). And be aware of your knees if they’re a wee bit dodgy.

YouTube is full of free workouts. I like Lucy Wyndham-Read as she does 7 minute workouts. You can do a few to build up your time.

Stronglifts is good if you want to do some weights.

I've discovered Caroline Givan recently, she's got loads of different series and no annoying chatter 😂

stilldumdedumming · 23/05/2022 20:51

Team body project have around 45 home workouts - some harder than others

Fabulous 50s all on YouTube

glamourousindierockandroll · 23/05/2022 20:58

Youtube is a treasure trove. Search Popsugar Fitness which has loads of variety on there and a range of abilities. I think it hosts guest trainers as well, so if you like an instructor you can go off and search their own channel.

There really is loads and loads. Lockdown massively grew that aspect of Youtube.

Caroline Girvan on you tube. Tonnes of free content. She doesn't talk either which is a bonus.

PuffyMcPuffFace · 23/05/2022 21:21

Sydney Cummings - try her Ignite programme first, it's a good place to start. She's amazing - she has a real gift for coaching people of ALL abilities. Not intimidating in the slightest and she's technically brilliant as well.

I've just downloaded with FitOn app which has loads of free workouts and you can choose by difficulty, time, instructor etc. Seems good.

Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. DVD's for pennies on eBay. Caroline Girvan. Les Mills. Juice & Toya. Kayla Itstines.

If you really want to see a huge difference to your body - Tracy Anderson 90 day method. It’s haaard work but you get serious results.
