Absolute best of the best sports bra for high impact / big bust

I have a mountain of sports bras, I'll sometimes wear two at a time but I would love to die the absolute ultimate high impact bra to support properly rather than bouncing around with a mind of their own.

Any 10/10 recommendations?

Maaree! Pricier than other options but the best I've ever tried.

There is a lady called fullerbustinspo on Instagram. She reviews bras for bigger boobs. There are loads of sports bras on her page. Well worth a look.

LadySpratt · 01/05/2022 08:23

Prina Donna. Expensive, but fit really well and are very comfortable. Also you can move the straps from a regular position to a cross-back, which is especially useful if you start to lose weight and your boobs shrink a bit.

Came here to specifically say NOT the Shock Absorber ultimate run bra. Absolutely crapper than crap. Impossible to get on or off alone aswell. Tiny sizing and more bounce than tigger. Not cheap either. I was beyond disappointed!!! Still haven’t found a decent one for G cups.

LadySpratt · 01/05/2022 08:24

It autocorrected; it should be ‘Prima Donna’.

grafittiartist · 01/05/2022 08:33

Yes- I struggle to get in and out of shock absorbers! Very comfy when on though.
I have an old Debenhams on- which I really hope that I can replace.
I always go up a cup size for sports bras.

Sameiam · 01/05/2022 08:56

I'm a 32g and have a shock absorber, works well for me! Bit of gymnastics to get into it but bo movement when running.

VikingNorthUtsire · 01/05/2022 08:59

My favourite was the Brooks Juno but they've discontinued it so I am watching with interest

AntarcticTern · 01/05/2022 09:00

I am a runner with big boobs, Enell is my favourite.

CarParkHell · 01/05/2022 09:03

Enell every time

Ah yes I think I had this one. Had to be a contortionist to get it on.

I have a couple of Freya ones - these I think www.bravissimo.com/products/dynamic-sports-bra-fy377/#black-fy377blk

katepilar · 01/05/2022 13:04

I like this one form M&S www.marksandspencer.com/freedom-to-move-high-impact-sports-bra-a-e/p/clp60450459?color=BLACKMIX
I wear it for Irish dancing which is lots of jumping up and down. I wear a C cup so not sure how relevant it is to bigger sizes.

dementedpixie · 01/05/2022 13:12

I wear panache ultimate underwired bras for my 36GGs. Look on boobydoo for lots of options

NeedAHoliday2021 · 01/05/2022 13:15

I’ve always worn a tshirt bra with sports bra over until I treated myself to an under amour one. I really love it - great support.

pearandsausage · 01/05/2022 13:19

Another vote for Maarree - www.maaree.com - specifically the solidarity one.

They're expensive but nothing else comes close (I've tried many) - I'm a 34FF and I can do running/play netball/do a HIIT class/do weight lifting and my boobs don't even cross my mind.

Comfortable to wear, not impossible to get on and I've had great service from Maaree.

BookWorm45 · 01/05/2022 13:26

The Enell ones have been great for me (you have to be aware the sizing is different to standard bras)

traintraveller · 01/05/2022 15:48

I rate panache under wired sports bras but do need to size up on the band size. Shock absorbers are a nightmare to get into and the cup sizes are wrong for me.

fellrunner85 · 01/05/2022 15:55

Panache for me.
It has equal or better support to the Enell, but is far more comfortable. The Enell is ok if you're only running short distances, but chafes like hell if you're in it for any length of time.
The Panache, by contrast, has more padding and is a more comfortable fabric, so you can wear it for much longer.
The Shock Absorber Run is ok ish but for larger cup sizes it's nowhere near as good as the Panache, in terms of support.

Notadrill · 01/05/2022 16:00

I didn't get on well with Maarree (mentioned above) but totally sold on Runderwear. Lots of sizes and they wash well. (And easy returns).

I use a shockabsorber D+ max support bra underneath a Freya underwired sports bra. I don't feel comfortable running in less. I cannot do up the catches on the run bras and prefer not to have to find someone to do them up for me. I have to say that I do sometimes feel as if I have done a full work out by the time I have got both bras on though.

MrOllivander · 02/05/2022 01:33

I'm a K cup and wear the Elomi energise. Works really well

jubileeee · 02/05/2022 06:47

Is the panache a certain name? Same with Freya? Or is it only one sports bra version they do?
