Best wireless headphones for running?

indiesearcher · 29/04/2022 16:30

I'm really getting into my couch to 5k runs, but I couldn't face it without music!

My standard issue apple headphones are starting to drive me mad - so I'm looking for advice on headphones that are both wireless but will stay put through a run (training eventually for a half marathon!)

Many thanks!

Treks Titanium (probably mini)

I'll be seconded, thirded and at least fourthed on this 😂

I must've missed the memo on the MN favoured ones - I'll look now.
I use ones similar to pic - curl around the ear with rubbery bits for in the ear - mine were 16.99 or thereabouts
My DC would probably be sniffy about the sound quality as theirs are all Apple but I think it's fine.

Yep to treks titanium! 😂

usernamealreadytaken · 29/04/2022 23:11

Definitely Trekz Titanium mini - they're fab!

indiesearcher · 29/04/2022 23:13

Oooh lots of love for treks! Do they actually stay put?? I can't stand anything moving around/jiggling about while I'm running.

Trekz. you can run and still hear traffic/birds etc and they are allowed in races.

ImInStealthMode · 29/04/2022 23:16

Trekz! They stay put and allow you to hear what's going on around you.

I find they start to hurt me eventually, but only when I've done up to half marathon distance in them, and probably doesn't help that I wear glasses too.

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 29/04/2022 23:25

Trekz !!!!

Isonthecase · 29/04/2022 23:37

I have some from a brand called mpow with the ear wrap. Cheap and cheerful 👍

Whyisitsodifficult · 30/04/2022 22:05

Yep they stay put, well worth the money.

Powerbeats pro

trilbydoll · 30/04/2022 22:07

Aftershokz here too. But try them first if you can, DH can't bear them, he says the vibration (that I can't even feel) makes him feel sick.

Haggisfish3 · 30/04/2022 22:09

I have aftershockz bone conducting ones and love them.

dizzydizzydizzy · 30/04/2022 22:13

Aftershokz love love love 'em.

Ylvamoon · 30/04/2022 22:13

Aftershokz - I love mine! But I needed some time to get used to the vibration.

Yep

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 30/04/2022 22:23

Probably worth saying here that Trekz (range) Titanium (model) and Aftershokz (main brand) are the same thing.

AuntieStella · 30/04/2022 22:37

definitely Aftershokz - not least because they're the safest (can still hear what's around you) And also race approved

Fitterbyfifty · 01/05/2022 08:42

I have Aftershokz but it does annoy me that the band is huge.

Forestcantrun · 01/05/2022 08:50

Aftershokz and I second what @IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads says... I think everyone on the thread recommended the same ones🤣 I got Titaniums for about 52quid on Amazon. I think (I might be wrong) Titaniums have been rebranded so they are selling off the older boxes. The Aeropexes are apparently very good. I got DH a pair and he is obsessed.

I'm using apple airpods pro for exercising like running and workout. I do exercise due to improve my mental health because doctor recommend me this. Because I loss my mental health due to high level depression than I joined life coaching and do exercise as well after someone recommendation.

Haggisfish3 · 14/05/2022 14:21

Oooh just seen aftershockz minis that are 3cm smaller headband…
