How to order exercises in a workout

Hi, I've been given a list of exercises to do to help with some problems I've been having. I've been advised to do 8-10 reps of each exercise, and repeat them 2-3 times in one session. I'm wondering if it's better to:

a) do 8-10 reps of one exercise and then repeat that 2-3 times with a little break (30 or 60 seconds?) before moving on to the next exercise and doing the same

b) do 8-10 reps of each exercise and then repeat the whole routine 2-3 times

It might not even matter, but I don't know and want to make sure I'm doing what's best if it does make a difference. The person I saw was really helpful and I've emailed her for advice, but I think she only works 2 days so won't be back in for 4-5 days, and I can't wait to get started!

B - as you will be working different muscles and it will be harder to repeat the same exercises straight after using the same muscles if you are just starting off.

Depends what the exercises are?

I do weights and will do A.

This. In order to build strength or fitness, you need to train to failure. So you need to train either via reps or weight or speed to the point where you can only just do the last set. Or the last 2 in each set are really tough and you need a short rest break.

Oh, and you need a progressive programme. You won't get the training effect if you use the same weights/number of reps/speed all the time. Each week, up your weights/speed etc etc etc

Whichever order makes you happy will be the most effective. I'd do B, but A might suit you better. Or you could do A one day and B the next!
