Exercise induced bronchospadm anyone?

Particularly with cold weather?

Waiting for a hospital appointment April. But basically I had a breathless episode running in the cold. Then had a bad virus and felt breathless afterwards. Got given a blue inhaler and referred for investigation.

I was feeling good so I did a big mountain walk (Scotland) yesterday and am now back feeling breathless again. Sad

Anyone else ? I feel a bit despondent because exercise outside is a huge part of my life (and I live in a cold place!)

I think I get this too. Lifelong mild asthma, but since the covid vaccinations it has worsened. I have also been running for 6 years or so and run regularly. I only know when asthma is flared when I run, despite using Fostair twice daily, I have struggled with wheezing and filling my lungs with enough air while running. I have been prescribed Montelukast, which I have been on for a few weeks and waiting to see if it will help.

Good luck with your investigations.

That’s interesting about the covid vaccinations. Because it’s only been the case since I’ve been vaccinated too. Could be a coincidence…

Thanks for your post. 🙏
