Has anyone bought / done Figure 8 please?

I hadn't seen this before but it does look really good. Dh got himself an Oculus Quest before Christmas and I have been obsessed playing a game called Beat Saber. I have always found it hard to exercise but since playing that I have so much more energy. Having seen Figure 8 I feel quite motivated to try it as music really seems to motivate me.
Would also love to know if anyone else has tried it - looks like it is a subscription?

Ok, so I bought a bunch of these Body FX/Figure 8 programs in 2020....then fractured my ankle and forgot I'd bloody bought them (oops). Saw all the ads on FB the other week and then remembered I'd bought the bloody programs!!! Did my first one this morning: I was crap at it, because I'm not great with (have never done this type of) dancing, but it def gave me a good workout and I felt great afterwards. I'll stick with it. It's low impact, which means I can get up early and do a workout before the kids wake up (and laugh at me).

Interesting that this got a bump from HQ. Are they affiliates or paying for advertising @HebeMumsnet?

Oooooh I looked at this last year and was tempted. Don't really want to part with loads of cash if it won't work. Anyone had good results?

Well I don't know. But somehow I don't think so? Otherwise we'd see lots of similar bumps, and this is the first I've seen in 15+ years on MN.

Ooh! Sorry! Just seen that I've caused consternation here! No, no affiliates or anything else nefarious here! Just noticed that the OP hadn't had any answers yet so was bumping her thread for her. The OP does look like a good egg and seems to have been around since Moses was in short trousers so felt she was probably not here to flog stuff or anything. Sorry if I accidentally caused concern!

Can anyone tell me how it works? Do you get sent a load of videos by email or access them on a website or what? I've also seen the ads and am tempted, but would like to understand the process before paying and just don't get it

With the ones I bought (Figure 8 Basic and Figure 8 Express), there are a collection of videos that you have access to on the website. You just log in and watch them. You can do this thing where you can watch them via the Apple TV app on a smart tv. Except I’ve not figured that one out (the Apple TV app is on the PS4, which is then attached to the TV), as I’m crap with stuff like that. I just put the vids up on my computer and dance about in front of that :)

PS I’m a nurse and have no affiliation or anything with Body FX. I’m just a paying customer (who dances very badly)
