Oura ring or Apple Watch - is it worth it?

I've got a Fitbit watch and I'm finding it really easy to use, but I'm thinking I should find a device that can track a bit more.
I've been hearing and reading about Oura rings and I was wondering if anyone had one and if they would recommend it?

The other option is an Apple Watch but I'm not sure that will be any better than my Fitbit. Again, I'd be grateful for any thoughts.

TIA

Depends what you want to track and why. I use an Apple Watch and a Withings sleep mat, because I hate wearables at night. While you are deliberating you might want to investigate the Whoop band, too.

What additional features are you looking for? I have the new Oura ring (after upgrading from the old one) and find it great.

I mainly use it to track sleep (amount and quality), as it’s something I really need to work on with 3 small kids. It also records calories burned, steps, heart rate, heart rate variability, body temperature etc.

The feedback it gives you is really very accurate - for instance it knows if you’ve drunk caffeine late in the day or eaten shortly before sleeping.

I think if you’re looking for something which looks at your health overall (rather than just calorie counting or steps) then it’s great.

Than ks both. I'll have a look into the Whoop and the Withing mat.

The Oura ring sounds like what I need. I'd like to track calories and steps and sleep. I'd really like to learn more about my body as I'm getting over cancer and I'm ready to get back into the world and start getting well again.
