Chaffing advice needed

I'm looking for some advice from runners who aren't necessarily slim...
I enjoy running and do the odd 10k / half marathon. If find when I go on longer runs I sometimes suffer from chaffing usually due to poor legging or knicker choice.
Can anyone recommend any brands / materials to avoid this?
For reference, I'm quite tall (5f 9in) and a size 14 / 16.
Thank you!

Vaseline or lipsalve on the bits that get rubbed makes a surprising difference. You can get stuff specifically for running like bodyglide.

Ah, thanks. I'm usually slapping sudocream on afterwards but some preventative measures sound sensible

Try Bodyglide on any problem areas. It's available online to buy and it's amazing stuff. You don't need to use a lot and it lasts well too (it got my chubby thighs through a very slow marathon without any chafing!)

Uniqlo sell seam-free microfibre pants, which are unlikely to chafe

Sudacrem or vaseline before you run! And sort your undies out.
