Hi everyone,

I'm a FTM and looking to get back into shape post babe. My little man is currently 10 weeks old and I have the mamas and papas maxi cosi pram. My question is, can I jog with him in this?? It would be on a flat and level surface but I've read mixed things on safety etc

Any tips would be great 😊

Thanks!

I personally wouldn’t. Unless its a running buggy they can tip easily.

Usual advice is to wait until they can hold their own head up, otherwise they get too jiggled about.

I would also make sure your pelvic floor is tip top if you are only 10 weeks pp. I'm a keen runner but some time spent on rehab post birth is time well spent Smile

Maybe I should wait then. Thanks for the advice ladies 🥰

You could do core and leg strengthening exercises in the meantime - that is never wasted time
Walking with the park you have would be good, especially if you have some hills to power up?

I would wait till he can lift his head/hold his head

I don't know your pram, but best thing I got was a 2nd hand 3 wheel running pram from ebay. You really need to get something where you can fix/lock the front wheel otherwise it is insanely easy to tip over.

I had a Baby Trend Expedition, not sure if you can get new in UK now. Friends had Out n About Nippers or Thule ones. But 3 wheeler are easy to manoeuvre as long as you make sure the front wheel is fixed.
