I am a new runner but I do enjoy running to music. I am also very slow. Could I please have your recommendations for songs for my running playlist.

So far I have

Lose yourself- Eminem
We found love - Rihanna
Animal - Neon trees

I am working up to running for an hour so I need more.

Thank you

This is a selection from an album I downloaded called 101 Running Tracks, if that helps?

Also found Love You Like a Love Song by Selena Gomez was a good tempo for me, but I’d tend to speed up and slow down a bit to match whatever song was on anyway

You need songs that match your running pace, if you can be bothered being so scientific about it. I did this for a while and it really did help me speed up

Love runs out by One Republic

One more night by Maroon Five

Cheesy but, from the file mmmm Rocky...

Eye of the Tiger and Burning Heart

I just have lots of 80s motivational type music on mine. They usually have run in the title as well.

You're the best around
Born to run
I ran
Running up that hill
She works hard for the money

Average pace is around 8:30 running on roads and footpaths, so it works for me.

When run with dd, we have an earpod each and run to Fall Out Boy.

I always hearing some melodies song during my running time. But most of the time, I like to run without hearing any songs, because I run for long distance in the forest place. It is makes me more free and keep my mind cool

If you like musicals the moulin rouge soundtrack is good.

I have some randoms too - footloose for example!

I've been using the Pace Setter playlists from BBC sounds.
I like the rock one but there's dance, rnb, cheesy pop and possibly other mixes.

I agree that 'we found love' is great to run to. I have found that I like to run to songs that I would never usually listen to! I run to 'girl power' type anthems and I'm mid 40's! I find them particularly useful towards the end of a run to keep me going:

Little mix Salute and Power
Beyonce Run the World
Shake it off

You get the idea! Grin

I have ruined so many great songs for myself by having them on a C25K playlist...

Firestarter - Prodigy
Where's your head at? - Basement Jacx
Setting Sun - Chemical Bros/ Noel Gallagher
Hey Boy Hey Girl - Chemical Bros
White Weddjng - Billy Idol
Piece of Me - Britney
It's Tricky - Run DMC

Have a look on spotify for running playlists.

Check out the Run Hundred website for a massive selection of tunes searchable by bpm. It took me a wee bit of trial and error but, as a new, slow, runner (ok, JOGGER), I've found currently tunes at 113bpm work for me.
