I’m trying to do glute bridges and clamshells but is there anything else that will get them firing?

Banded crab walk. But really, glute bridges are the thing. Maybe graduate to doing them using a Pilates ball.

When I'm doing glute bridges I do them weighted and do 40 followed by a 20 second hold and then 20 pulses. They're on fire by the end!

I don't find bridges best for glutes as my hamstrings take more of the effort. You can engage them more if you go on your heels or feet on a pilates ball.

All the ones on the side in the video above are the best for me.

Do you have a glute band? Doing clamshells/bridges/paused squats with one of these will burn! Single leg deadlifts always work for me too

Yes a resistance band will do it. Loop or tie it around your legs (depending on whether it’s a circular band or handles) and do bridges, squats, clamshells etc with it on - you’ll feel the difference

Defo second the banded crab walks. Doesn’t have to be a mega thick band - just one of these dinky ones does the trick!
