Swimming goggles fit

Does anyone have any tips about how to buy swimming goggles? How do you know if they will fit?

My last pair were trail and error, but have now started leaking (after many years, so just age) so I need to buy more. They were always an OK fit, but not amazing so I'd like to do better.

I also have issues with goggles steaming up, so any recommendations to stop that would also be great. (I assume the anti-fog coating on mine has gone)

no idea, but following
Advice I read elsewhere didn't work for me
Do you have 'big' or 'small' head?

Zoggs have an app to scan your face & recommend models

I tend to like Speedos best, although I had one pair that never sealed well as one seal was bent in the packaging and didn't have the right tension.

Supposedly you put them on your face & they just "stay there" = ideal fit.

Except the model (Elite Skin?) that fit me like that, also brushed my eyelashes. And didn't fit around DH's nose. I didn't think I could get used to the eyelash brushing and wasn't brave enough to try trimming them.

Alas you never know if they will fit until you try them on, and tbh until you have swum in them. Predator flex seem to fit a lot of people though
