Exercise bike for under desk

what does everyone think of exercise bikes for under desk?

I'm a typical sedentary person and have stopped going to the gym (just do walks and park yoga now). I never liked the gym much anyway.

Not heard of this, so is it something you can pedal while sat working? I’m thinking of a desk treadmill.

Following as I’ve been considering this. If anyone has one do their knees bang the desk ConfusedGrin

It looks like it. You can buy desks with treadmills combined but I already have a work desk!

According to some reviews for the nicer ones, apparently no as you pedal but not on a bike if that makes sense?

@Gonnagetgoing I am practising now under my desk with my imaginary bike pedals Grin and I think they would have to be quite a small area of motion for me not to bang my knees on the underneath of my desk

I'll try to find the good one I found and see the reviews.

Don't bother, I bought one and used it twice. I kept banging my knees on the desk, so had to sit to the side which defeated the object.

Far better to look at a standing desk option - I have a lifting stand, but again rarely use it despite 19 months WFH.....

Avoid. My MIL had one when she became increasingly frail. It was rubbish - the momentum of cycling makes the wretched thing move forward, so it moves away from your feet unless it's directly under you e.g. under a dining chair.
