Trainer recommendations for wide feet

Help! I've taken up running again after 2 years off. I need some running shoes but I don't want to spend a fortune. I have fairly wide feet so would love any recommendations that don't cost a fortune. I'm not running loads (about 5k 2x a week) so budget around £50-£60. Thank you!

Go for men's - they're made on a wider last.

Do you need a supportive sole or neutral? Road or trail? How much cushioning?

And still get a larger size than the one you get for normal shoes.

Mizuno wave rider?

Brooks - look for older styles on amazon and be flexible on the colour.

I'd never thought about ordering men's! I'll have a look at some. Don't need much support but I do like some cushioning.

I need a stability shoe so wear either Brooks Adrenaline or Saucony Omni. Both are wide fitting but £££ so I always buy in the sale.
