Can anyone advise if there is such a thing available as high-leg seam-free underwear for kids?
DC has just started a dance class and needs to wear a leotard. Just got the leotard and all underwear seems to be very visible, and apparently uncomfortable. I did suggest no underwear but this was met with a face of disgust.
Dance studio do not ask for no underwear under leotards, btw.

DC is ave height but slim so would need something probably for 8-9y

Asda sell dance knickers

Thanks, I shall take a look. Might be better to search 'dance underwear' which didn't occur to me!

Have a look at DanceDirect. I get all my (adult dance) stuff there.

What about this, for a girl?

If your DC is a boy, then he'll eventually need to wear a boy's support belt

Alternatively, no knickers, but tights, then leotard over the top?

Thanks @ShortBacknSides
As this is the first term with the class I don't want to commit too much to getting all the gear just yet. I have ordered some underwear now which wasn't pricey and if the dance craze continues then I shall 'branch out' to nicer/higher spec Grin
