Can anyone help? My DH is slim and reasonably fit (he walks and cycles a little bit and used to swim pre-lockdown), and he is renovating a house that involves a lot of physical labour, so he's always carrying heavy loads of things, sawing wood etc.
However, he's in his early 60s, and is complaining that he is a bit untoned and losing muscular strength and would like to firm up a bit. He is so not a gym type person but he has said he'd like to do maybe a quick 15 minute a day YouTube thing with hand weights.
Would anyone have any recommendations? He would run a mile from anything too um, young and enthusiastic, if you see what I mean, so no whooping and bad music
. Just a basic programme that focuses on arms, shoulders, back, and something easy to follow that he can get into the habit of doing most days. There are so many millions of home fitness things out there that I don't know where to start to try and help him find one that would be any good.
