Fitness Test tomorrow...

I have a very important fitness test tomorrow and feeling incredibly nervous!
The test is a beep test to 5.4 on a 15m distance. I do it every year as part of my job but every year I get so nervous and convince myself il fail.
This has been dropped on my last minute so haven't had alot of time to prepare.
I know I'm being crazy, it's 3.30 minutes of running back and forward and is easy enough.
So why am I panicking!
Any words of advise welcomed ☺

Adrenaline will spike before hand and you'll get through it. Just remember to turn round and get ready to go immediately on your next beep, breath into you lungs fully and not just in the top of your chest and you'll breeze through it. You Can Do It!

You've done it before, you can do it again!

You've got this 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼

Make sure you are adequately fuelled and hydrated but don’t do it on a full stomach 🤢🤮

Well done. The bleep test is a killer. I've got to get to 8.7 for my job over 20m and I absolutely hate it.

Before you do it again next year I'd recommend to do a few practice goes, set up the distance in a park and download a bleep test app.

I will 100% be doing this. I honestly did very little prep this time and it showed. Had jelly legs for ages after! I usually try and do it every couple of months to make sure I'm OK. Im getting old and finding it harder that for sure!

It kinda feels unfair that you have to reach the same level as you get older.
