Pelvic discomfort when I do push ups?

Does anyone else get this? It's not really a pain, but an unpleasant sensation in my pelvic floor region. As if I'm straining or pulling an area that doesn't like it!!
I'm going to find a substitute exercise for push ups, as it really puts me off!

I get a sensation in that area but it’s more just like I’m doing a pelvic floor exercise. Not discomfort. Interested in the responses to this one...

Try planks or some other pilates type move to strengthen your core? sound like you have a strain in your core area that needs some work to improve it but carefully?

Do you stiffen your whole body properly when doing them? Maybe try taking a video to see if you are holding position properly or if your back is dipping which may be contributing to this.
