Best basic couch to 5k app?

I am planning to try couch to 5k and am looking for an app to guide me though and would love som recommendations.

I am probably unusual but I don't want any music as I'd rather have the peace of the countryside. I definitely don't want any motivational talks either. I just literally want an app that gives me audio cues to walk, run etc. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I’ve tried running with the nhs app and hate it. Am using a really old c25k plan from Womens’s Running magazine at the moment and much prefer it - am sure if you’re keen it’d come up on Google (am not sure how to post pics). I also don’t like headphones, mainly because I run in the countryside at night, so a paper plan works much better for me.

Hmm, I got on well with the NHS app, there's a choice of narrators and no built in music so you can add your own or go with silence.

I like the C2K NHS Appin, but if you don't want any talking at all, then download an interval timer app and customise it to match the C25K plan.

Thanks v much. I will give the NHS a go. I just want someone to tell me when to run and when to walk!

The Zenlabs app is what you are looking for. A voice chimes in to tell when to start / stop running. I use it over music but would work perfectly on its own

Great thanks v much Ottiva.
