Buying trainers online

I have only been running for a few months and it is keeping me sane through lockdown. However, my very old trainers are giving me blisters. I don't think I can wait until shops reopen to change them! Is it easy to get shoes to fit online? I was looking at Brooks website (seems they have an easy returns policy). Does anyone have any experience of this brand? I am not in the UK btw.

I've just bought some Brooks Ghosts - I had always previously worn Asics. I absolutely love them - they are the most comfortable trainers ever. I'm usually a size 39 in normal shoes and went up to a 40.5 - they fit perfectly for running in.

Brooks ghosts are legendary for running and come in different width sizes (if you can find them).

I wear Brooks Adrenaline GTS because they're one of the few shoes that suit my flipper like feet. I go up a full size from my normal shoes.

Hoka also have a 30 day refund policy if you buy direct and also ASICS I believe. So you can run in them a bit and return if they don't suit.
