Funky running leggings?

Hello, I am a runner and intern see and admire other runners wearing cool leggings and when I google I can never find the right ones. Something animal print or similar, not too pricey (can’t afford Sweaty Betty) and have to have a pocket for my phone.

If anyone has any or has seen any, can you point me in the right direction please? Thanks.

There are so many out there now - TikiBoo, Sturdy by Design, Lucy Locket Loves, Combat Dollies are just a few

Look up Lucy Locket Loves. I have the same issue. Mainstream brands don’t have funky enough leggings but the quirky brands are hard to find on search engines.

Tikiboo

The reflective Nike web ones seem popular around where I live.

GrannyOfDragons · 11/01/2021 13:29

Tikiboo are pretty funky . There is a FB group (Tikiboo buy and sell) where you may get a second hand pair a bit cheaper or try Ebay. They usually have a phone pocket in the rear of the waistband.

Sports direct have some funky cheap ones that’s where I get mine from

I’m spoilt for choice now-thanks so much! Currently have 2 pairs in my basket on Tikiboo so need to make a decision!

If you can get a discount code (try looking on the credit crunch thread) Swetty Betty are worth the £ I reckon. So flattering and comfy.

Nike are also good, decent price and while more than say Primark or a supermarket, they last through hundreds of washes, never fall down and can stand being worn and getting sweaty in the height of summer without losing fit or fading. I got a pair of fleece lined ones last winter that feel so thin to touch but are amazingly cozy on cold mornings.

Depends on your budget I guess but I've found it's good to have fewer but better quality that lasts and still looks great than several cheaper pairs.

Welcome to running OP, I hope it works for you. I'm currently injured with a buggered up knee and am trying to be patient with my recovery but I'm coming at the bit to get back to it! Grin

Apologies I've just read-read and you're not new to it. Doh Confused
As you were ...

fellrunner85 · 11/01/2021 13:59

How far and often are you running OP? As a lot of the brands listed above really aren't good quality, and won't see you through regular long runs...

Sunshineandflipflops · 11/01/2021 14:03

Thanks @tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz.

I’ve been running for about 12 years but only run for fitness/pleasure and not competitively. I’ve been plagued with injuries over the past 12 months or so so at the moment I am working back up to 5-7k 3 x a week.
