Running socks

Usually run in ordinary cotton socks. Over the last year or so, I have been going through the toes very quickly. Any recommendations for reinforced toe running socks?

Twin skin socks, great for avoiding blisters too.

Decathlon now make their own toe socks, which I find fantastic for running in! I honestly find them so much more comfortable than normal socks now, and half the price of other toe socks that cost about £12 for a single pair!! Xmas Shock

The bestIve found are Stance. Don't shrink on washing, and don't unravel.

Hilly Twin Skins shrank, Nike unravelled, ASICS didn't really do the job.

I don't even run that much, but now will only buy Stance (have bought the longer ones for walking too).

Injinji toe socks are fab! Hilly do a toe sock too now which are great also.

DH swears by thorlos

I have some double-skinned ones ... with holes in the toes! Not quite sure how toe socks are going to help. I am wondering if it's to do with the shoes I have (it never used to be this bad), but I haven't worn them out yet! Otherwise maybe it's down to an RTA which gave me a bout of plantar as well.

I have some from decathlon. both heel and toes are double thickness, but they come up very small, next time I need a size bigger.

redcandlelight · 23/12/2020 21:28

are your shoes too small?
running trainers usually should be one or 2 sizes bigger than your normal shoes to give you space around the toebox.
