Hi there. I've been running for a while now but around 3 weeks ago I developed shin splints in both legs. I stopped running (but carried on exercising moderately on my bike at home), I've rested and iced etc and my right leg has been totally fine for a couple of weeks now. My left one though seems to be getting worse. It hurts when I weight bare, so walking down stairs, getting up from sitting etc. My dds school has a big hill and it's killing me walking up and down it. I've started limping now. Are shin splints this bad?
