Making a running playlist

I’ve just got into running and am putting together a playlist as it really helps me to run to music. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you have Spotify?

I like to download different play lists for the gym so I don't get bored. And they have special playlists for running too which all have good upbeat tempos.

I currently just have Amazon Music so using that to create a playlist.

My current have for running is the Hamilton sound track. 'My Shot' in particular seems to help my PBs!

I have Spotify. My running playlist is not my usual music taste at all! I favour fast paced pop for running so find my 13 year olds playlist perfectGrin along with Kylie, Beyonce etc all the poppy stuff I'd never usually admit to listening to! The Spotify created playlists are a good start, I'm sure Amazon music has similar.

What kind of music do you like? I also find I listen to music I wouldn't ordinarily like when exercising.

Try some David guetta, EDM is Dead. Good solid beat to stomp away to!

Sorry - The song is the Death of EDM feat. Beardyman

Yesss EDM is great for running. As is reggaeton.

I invested in a youtube premium account and listen to a lot of AndyWuMusicLand and ADAMusic megamixes. And a lot of hour-long pop mixes - something about the mix making the songs change every minute or so makes it very easy to just keep running.

I listen to this one at the moment, lots of cheery fast pop. I found myself laughing out loud while running when Shaggy ‘It Wasn’t Me’ came on, I’d forgotten it.
