Plus sized cycling jacket help

Can anyone advise?

I am looking for a jacket for town riding, size 18 ish. I have looked at Fatladattheback but theirs are too pricey for me at £150 and D2D looked promising but have nothing in stock in my size, which for them is 2XL, either on their website or their EBay shop.

Does anyone have any other pointers? I would like something with hi-viz but doesn’t have to be full neon yellow. Basically want to trade in my huge man-size yellow tabard for a breathable, possibly a bit waterproof, jacket which can be seen. Thanks!

Have you tried Decathlon? A friend of mine is a size 18ish cycle-commutes to work every day and gets all her kit from there.

Something like this?

Thanks, that one hasn’t got enough high viz strips, which is also mentioned in the reviews, but I shall have a look round their site.

I think the XL s a size 18

The XXL ones are not as reflective

Cycling clothing is a nightmare unless you're skinny. I'm a size 16 and have one of these:

www.provizsports.com/en-gb/reflect360-womens-cycling-jacket.html

The size 16 is nice and roomy on me. Not very breathable but perfectly OK for my commute as I don't get too sweaty, I'm a bit of a plodding cyclist. The reflective material is brilliant for riding in the dark though I do wonder if it blends into the background a bit unless lit up IYSWIM. £90 currently and there's usually a discount code to be found.

In fact on their site there is 15% off until tomorrow. CLOCKS15.

Try VeloVixen, I've just bought a Madison Winter jacket from there for £39.99

Also, Velo Vixen have a FB chat group which is brilliant for women cyclists. l've learned loads from.there about routes, bikes etc and it's incredibly supportive.

I‘ll work my way through these but I have checked some of them beforehand and they either never stock an 18 or are out of stock of that size. Thanks for the tips!

The Madison XL is apparently a 16.

This is on a lot of sites: www.velovixen.com/collections/the-full-velovixen-collection/products/endura-windchill-jacket-ii-ultramarine and is the kind of thing I am looking for. Never seen it in XXL (18-20) although that size exists in their size charts. Checked EBay and Amazon too.

I think that’s why I am frustrated as I go down rabbit holes finding a product and then it turns out they don’t make it big enough or it’s not in stock. Sorry if I sound grumpy, I’m under the weather and have been going round in circles a bit! Will keep looking.

I was looking at this one today in store - seemed good quality...

Thanks! I will keep that in reserve, nice to see they do big.

I have jumped on one I found here: www.freewheel.co.uk although it’s an 18 not an 18-20 and let’s see if it closes over the boobs.
