I have just started Zumba and got horrendous pain in the bal of my foot. I get this occasionally normally I think it mortons neuroma. I wore my tuning trainers which are normally OK. Skechers are no good for me either does anyone have any suggestions.

I know we have in my town a shoe shop who watch you run and recommend trainers based on that. Maybe try and local runners facebook page and ask if there are any shops like that locally.

I just use most addidas running or bounce trainers for Zumba.

Running and Zumba are very different activities, you need supportive trainers for a general workout not running shoes.

OP - do you know if you need (or if your current trainers have) a neutral or a supportive sole?

Unless you know you need supportive, I'd recommend neutral.

Is supportive default setting for everyone for activities other than running? Surely not? Agree that it's not the same as running, but not sure how eise footstrike can be assessed - observation by instructor with a phone camera?

Forgot to ask - how much are you willing to spend, and what brand are your current trainers (ideally exact name of the specific type)? Do you want more/less/similar cushioning to the amount you have at the moment?
How much grip do you want? (I was wondering if a netball shoe might be worth it, but they are Very Expensive)

I actually wore my netball trainers for Zumba.
I fancy these though www.zumba.com/en-US/shop/GB/product/zumba-air-lo-a1f00164?color=Multi
