I have signed up but now thinking I am mad! It would be my usual route x 10!
Although they do give you 24 hours...
Anyway words of encouragement appreciated!

I am!

I had a charity place for April 2020 (awaiting news on deferral - the charity has said I can keep their place and are asking for April 22, second choice October 21)

I’m hideously unfit (I needed 12 weeks off June-Sept because of a broken foot) and my current half marathon time is 50% higher than it usually is.

So I’m expecting copious walking intervals, especially in the second half, and a time of around 6 hours

How are you getting on?

Good luck for tomorrow!!

Good luck to you both! Sorry about the weather, hope you manage to enjoy yourselves anyway.

Good luck today! I am just forcing down breakfast before setting off in the rain Confused

How did you all do? I was supposed to be running the VLM in April. Signed up for the virtual even though I've not run since May due to an achilles issue. Was so marathon ready at the end of March. On the south coast and the weather was awful. Walked it. Best I managed before today was 10km walk. 8 hours and 12 mins which walking having done no training I am happy with. Was hoping for 5.50 if running the real thing. Have got my deferral for 2021 not sure if I can be bothered though!
