Post swimming lessons

Morning,

My DD9 has started swimming lessons again which she loves. Unfortunately the changing rooms cannot be used afterwards. They don't want anyone hanging around so the only option is to leave and get to the car. Last lesson I dried her down with a towel, covered her in a dressing gown and did a mad dash across the car park. By the time she was home she was freezing.

Ive looked on a few websites for ideas on ways of keeping her warm but they are either ginormous or really expensive. I'd be grateful if people could let me know how they are doing it?

Not looking forward to doing this in winter
🤔

DS2 (7) can change thank goodness, but we then have about 45 mins to lurk before we can re-enter the centre for DS1's lesson, then sit through that for another half an hour.
It was warm enough last week, but I hope I can get them on different, more compatible timeslots in their new levels before the season changes too far. They're both 100% but moving up is suspended at present.
DS1 has been waiting since January for a suitable space...

My two wear shorty wetsuits as they get cold easily in the water.

Hot water bottle in the car.
Turban towel to keep the head warmer.
I have a blanket stashed in the car.

Microfibre hair turban, dressing gown, fleece blanket in the car, no faffing about just straight out and into dressing gown then off to car. One of your coats over the dressing gown if it is really cold

Can she put on a tracksuit over her costume? Sit on a towel in the car, towel for hair, then boots that are quick to pull on. Add a big coat when it gets colder outside.

Thanks for getting back to me everyone.

The hot water bottle idea is great and it shouldnt take too long to shove on some sweatpants. At the moment its not been too cold but im aware it will change soon.

Thanks again
