Help im skinny fat!

Hope i can get some support here.
Pre lockdown i was fairly fit.. walked for an hour a day..some gardening... lots of housework etc..
Now... im a lazy flabby bitch!!
Bingo wings, back fat, flat bum and saggy belly and i still only weigh 10 stone .. please please tell me that exercise works!
If i did 30 mins of yoga every day will it make a difference?..
I cant do HILT..
I know that's what get results but im menopausal and don't have the energy...
Would appreciate all replies

Can I join? I'm only 8st 10 but I'm short and not toned at all!!!
My tummy seems to bloat once I've been up a few hours and by the evening I look about 6 months pregnant! Is this a menopause thing?
I don't feel I can talk to my friends because they would literally shoot me down as they perceive me as slim & 'perfect' but I feel so unfit Sad

I'm no expert , far from it but Rebecca Louise on you tube is good , lots of different work outs for different areas of the body. None so hard that you give up but hard enough that it makes a difference.

Yoga won't really help with toning IME but weights will. Just Google strength workouts, there are also loads you can do with just bodyweight.

I have the opposite problem! Very muscular but also a fair bit of non-muscular bulk (aka fat) to get rid of...

You could just go back to what you were doing pre lockdown? The walking, gardening, housework etc? Smile

Yoga would be good. It's hard to stay motivated if you're just doing it at home though.

I’m in the same boat op. I’ve been doing Chloe Ting workout, yoga with Adriene and going for 5 mile walks each day.

I totally get you on the not being ‘allowed’ to complain bit. I usually just say I’m trying to get fitter rather than trying to tone up.

@GertieBassett I have just done 2 Rebecca Louise workouts both only 10 mins long , one for abs and one for arms. I don't find her irritating like a lot of them can be and she is really encouraging. I feel the same as you my stomach is probably the biggest it's ever been and there is no excuse for it , I'm definitely the heaviest I've ever been. Have a look for her on you tube 😀
