Running, everything wobbles - where to start?

I'd like to start running again but after 3 kids everything feels a bit uncomfortable particularly in the stomach area as I have separated stomach muscles. I know in the long term i need to address this, possibly with physio but in the meantime is there anything I can do or wear to avoid that awful stomach wobbling sensation? Or will this sort itself out once I've ran a few times? I'm not sure where to start. Thanks

Good sports bra, and abdominal strengthening. Running alone won't give you core strength for a long time, so improving that independently will help your running and overall fitness hugely.
If you have separated stomach muscles, look for some specialist exercises to prevent injury.

I really like Bodyfit by Amy - she has some exercises

I also like my sports leggings from Matalan which have a really high waist, to hold in/support my spare tyre.

Shock absorber ultimate run bra, Sweaty Betty power leggings if you can afford them (they’re amazing) and if you’re anything like me a tena lady!

As an interim fix - Some running shorts and leggings have a lovely high waistband that is often quite firm and double thickness. I find that these make me feel nicely tucked in. Personally I like the gap high waisted ones but lots of brands do them.

A really good sports bra, and high waist compression leggings (my current favourites are Combat Dollies) will do it

I've lost a considerable amount of weight that's left me with lots of excess skin and wobbly bits so when I jog I wear a really firm bra and a control slip underneath high waisted sports leggings (plenty of Lycra) and a vest. It seems a lot of layers but I find it more comfortable and easier to exercise if I'm held 'tight'

Definitely Sweaty Betty Power leggings. Bit expensive but fantastic. You only need one pair to start with as they wash and dry super fast. Good bra. Start slow.

That's great thanks. Any advice on sizing for sports clothes? Havent been shopping for a while but I've heard you cant try anything on?! Thanks
