Exercise with one arm?

Well one arm in plaster 😂😂

I normally run several times a week as well as walking most days. Tuesday I fell over and broke my left arm.

I can carry on with walking but wondering what I can do in addition until I can start running again?

Going to be in plaster for 6-8 weeks I think 🙂

Thank you!

Hope your arm feels better soon OP! Would you try exercise videos? Will link a few below x

Lunges. And squats. With a rucksack of rocks on your back. You'll have buns of steel by the time that plaster comes off!

Could you use some steps or a hill to intensify the walking?

You can still do leg raises for your core (if the squats haven't killed you) but I prefer to call them 'leg drops' and start from the 'up' position, not going all the way down, and this is probably safer without the support of your arm.

I'm still thinking... this is quite a good puzzle, OP, although probably less fun for you :/

Squats are a good call thank you! And I’ll check out the videos too!

We have a treadmill at home so once I don’t hurt as much I’ll do a brisk walk at a steep incline which should help too 🙂
