Anyone ever reduced their cellulite?

I’m 47 and used to be one of those people that didn’t put on much weight. Now that has all changed! Not only are the scales creeping up but I’ve always had cellulite at the back of my thighs but now I feel it is everywhere! Covered from my knees up, backs of arms and bum. I hate it! I do a 20 min HIIT workout about 5/6 mornings a week, 1 hour long cardio class/some yoga a week and try and walk every day - usually 45 mins to an hour. I do body brushing.
I feel fitter and stronger but none of my shorts fit me from last year Blush.

My diet is ok but could do better, I don’t drink much but I suspect my winter habit of a couple of choc biscuits every day has not helped! Or is it just the delights of peri menopause?

I’d love to know if anyone has ever succeeded in making a difference?

I have always been a sufferer of cellulite. I can’t be of any help on the exercise front but have heard positive things bout cellulite cups.

Only by losing weight. The bigger I am the worse it is.

I have never heard of cellulite cups before...
I’ve got a roller thing with bobbles on it which I use from time to time but I just don’t see how I’m ever going to get rid of this layer of fat on my legs.

As well as exercise, dry body brushing daily before my shower is fantastic for getting rid of cellulite by stimulating the lymph system.

I’ve been doing body brushing regularly before my morning shower. It would be good to hear from anyone that has definitely had a positive result.
I’m definitely upping my walking and doing more toning exercises but whilst I think my legs are toning, the cellulite is still very much in abundance!

me - I have been doing it for 15 years 100% has made an improvement I have minimal cellulite. I only do abdomen, buttocks and front and back thighs and am convinced by it!

@PilatesPeach what type of brush do you use. Do you have any recommendations? There are so many out there I don't know what's best!

Following with interest. I’m 29, 5ft4, 8st10 and my legs and bum are riddled with cellulite from the knees up. I hate it. I have been religiously dry body brushing for 3 months but no results yet. How long have you been doing it for?

I noticed my cellulite only appeared when my pill was changed last year. I came off of it after my husband’s vasectomy in January and I’m waiting to see if that will have any impact.

I don’t really want to lose weight, maybe a couple of pounds & my diet isn’t all that bad. Starting to think that this is something we may have to accept about ourselves. Although I’m still at the point of hiding my legs in the height of summer, wish I was stronger. Hey

I do the dry brushing for a good 15 min sometimes 20 min so 10 min per leg and different movements. Then when I apply body cream, I do some more deep tissue massage. Pinching and rolling
From time to time, I also scrub with the coffee left at the bottom of my French press.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/06/2020 20:21

I do dry skin brushing and have a dimple on one bum cheek but I can live with that.

It didn’t show any improvement at all for the first 2.5 months. I think perseverance is the key but I only do a few minutes not 20.

LeGrandBleu · 10/06/2020 20:24

I meant a good 20 min with brushing and massage. Brushing alone will take 10 min or almost

Swimming really helped with mine. I use to do breaststroke so I expect it was all the squat action really that helped.
