Anyone else’s yoga really improved during lockdown?

posted in chat but didn’t realise dedicated exercise area!...

but Pre lockdown I did 4 classes a week. I was a solid intermediate.

During lockdown I’ve been doing 5 classes online at my own pace and I can’t believe the improvement! Having the chance to pause and really nail the position has been a revelation. Anyone else?!

I abandoned yoga as the online video I was dying to do was just too hard. But Pilates has been AMAZING! Started doing an online video. Usually attend Pilates classes 3-4 times a week so have co tinted with this frequency, but like you have been able to properly nail some of the moves. I have lots underlying health problems, fibromyalgia, bursitis. No more pain in hips since lockdown exercises! No need to sleep with pillow between legs, doing lots of bendy things, can swing legs about. It’s amazing 😍.

Yes! I’ve been doing an hour daily.
I’ve found so many good YouTube videos I’m not sure that I’ll be going to the studio so often once this is all over as I’ve created my own space at home.
I’m feeling so much stronger

Isn’t it brilliant?! Pleased you’ve had similar experience. I’ll still do my hot yoga but it’s been a revelation to realise that I can do home works outs and really challenge myself too

Which workouts have you been doing.
I’ve been doing power or vinyasa flow from lululemon, then yin with kassandra

I've been doing an online video most days and it has really helped me.

If anyone had a good Pilates video/online I’d appreciate a link. I can’t do yoga - my back is knacky and I just can’t bend it properly for yoga -
but Pilates is ok.

I have gone from Mrs Pretzel (very bendy) to increasingly stiff over the last couple of months!

Can anyone post good links for yoga and pilates workouts? I have upped my walk/run/cycle/lifting during this time but I'd like to get better at yoga positions and try pilates.

Vinyasa flow. I do this after a run.

And then a fab mix of yoga and body weight conditioning. I do this on mornings I don’t run.
