Les Mills- am I missing something?

I was lucky enough to get 30 days free through a work reward scheme and was really excited to try this as I had been looking at joining anyway. But I am not sure if I'm missing something? I tried some body combat workouts (I used to love Billy Blanks Tae Bo and this seemed similar) but all the workouts I've tried seem to be little clips put together? For example 5 minutes with one set of instructors, then it switches to someone else, then someone else? I'm finding it really difficult to get in the zone because of this. Are all the workouts like this? If not any recommendations would be great please. I have a barbell so happy to try body pump too and I've done the getting started videos for that.

Thanks!

I think usually their workouts have a few instructors doing the workout and they take turns to lead sections, but they are all there the whole time and it's not clips put together.

Yes, that's right. I am really enjoying them and the workouts make sense overall - you have. 45 minute class or whatever, 6 instructors, they focus on different things. I like combat, hiit and CXcore. Don't have barbells.

The ones I do have maybe 3 instructors there the whole time and take turns, doesn't seem like clips to me? Maybe its the short sections that you mean actually, yes they all have 5ish min sections to get through. I like it like that though.

Sometimes for the 30/45 minute classes there are some cuts, but I think this is because they're cut from a full 55/60 minute version of the class. But yes, as others have said, different instructors do different bits.

I think there are two types of video on the website. There are full workouts where the instructors switch but the video is one long session and then there are clip type videos which are shorter and clipped together from full workouts. These tend to be in the intro sections where you get a chance to go through the moves they use or shortened versions where you just do particular exercises. For example I did a workout from the body balance section the other night that was focused on flexibility.

I haven’t signed up to Les Mills but have done some classes in gyms and now on YouTube. I don’t mind different instructors taking different sections and they don’t feel like separate clips to me.
