So I'm a newbie runner, only got two weeks in and I've hurt my knee. I didn't feel anything whilst I was running, in fact I don't think I felt it until the day after. My right knee is really sore, not so painful I can't walk on it but I'm limping slightly and can feel it constantly, even when just sitting. My knee has swollen up and is just as sore now a week on as it was when I first hurt it. Does anyone know what I've done, tips on healing quicker, how long it will take? I've done the ibuprofen, ice, elevation and rest as much as poss but is easier said than done with 3 kids to look after! TIA x
