HELP! Belly slap when running!

I know this isn't the most glamorous topic...

I used to run 5ks twice a week in 2017, but hurt my hip so I stopped. I've since put quite a lot of weight on (about 3 stone, although I was never 'slim' to start with). I went for my first run for a long time this morning. Took my headphones out mid way through and all I heard was "Slap! Slap!". Realised it was coming from my belly slapping when I run! Oh my goodness, I was so embarrassed I could have died right there. I know that it will go away gradually once I start losing weight, but I really don't want this to put me off running! Has anyone out there had a similar experience and can recommend some garments that might constrict my belly a little to hopefully lessen the noise? Thanks so much for reading!

Also posting in Style and Beauty for the garment advice Smile

I have found Tikiboo to be the best to hold it all in. Large waistband with a drawstring, large zip pocket too. The drawstring makes all the difference.

I've just found DownDog Apps. They are fantastic HITS, BARRE and Yoga. So tailorable and great music.

USA Pro seamless high waisted tights. Best thing i've ever bought! So flattering, really good fit and thick, supportive material

I have just had some fabletics leggings on the 2 for £24 offer. They’re brilliant! I went for a high waist to hold in my stomach and stop it from juggling around too much.

Ah I came on to recommend Under Armour compression tights, but @AuntieStella has beaten me to it. They’ve been a game changer for me, I was getting really put off by my bum cheeks flapping up and down 😂 they hold everything In and down beautifully.

These are all amazing recommendations. Thank you so much!

A lot of my bigger running friends wear Tikiboo and they seem to do the job well!

Personally I can’t stand running in leggings! I’d recommend tri shorts over leggings any day!

I really like the 30 day shred. I find the routine easier to stick with.
Also 3 stone to go here after baby no.2... I know it’s an awful lot to gain with a baby but I have. Blush
I tried running a couple of times this week and felt quite uncomfortable, so I have started the 30 day shred and will run again halfway through it when I feel a bit more confident. I did this with my first, although the weight gain was not so drastic!

Maternity leggings! I know it sounds a awful but I wore mine til they died. They go really high up, super form and supportive. I found them great when I was post csection,
