Best online yoga and pilates

w00dlander · 01/04/2020 22:45

I'm looking for recommendations of good yoga and pilates work outs that I can do at home.

I've done both before but not for a while.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

I like Yoga With Adrienne, don't know about Pilates. I was doing a RL class, but we have switched to a slightly chaotic zoom catch up now...

Following as fancy giving Pilates a go. Can’t get on with Yoga though.

Try tribe.yoga/tribe-online-today/

They’re posting lots of online videos, mainly yoga but starting to put on more pilates and barre ones as the days go on. They seem to be releasing a few every day,

I like yoga studio - lots of different types and lengths of class. No chatting or irritating background stuff.

I like yoga with Adrienne too.

I’ve seen Stacy Jacques Fitness advertising Pilates (and other work outs) for free on Facebook. Haven’t tried them though!

Pilates by Georgia was recommended on here last week. There’s a 10 day free trial- I’m very impressed so far.

Pop Pilates / blogilates with Cassie on YouTube is good too!

Great thanks guys.

Adrienne is a clear yoga winner. I'll check out the suggested pilates and try one this evening after DS has gone to bed!

I just started with downdog. You can choose levels, types of yoga, length of session etc. It's free at the moment I think still

Can I put a plea in to support local businesses and check out your local Facebook news/community pages and see if any of your local Pilates/Yoga teachers are offering online classes? Most of us have completely lost our income stream and have switched to online classes via Zoom or similar to try and keep a little income coming in and keep our businesses going. Most are offering classes at greatly reduced rates.

Another one for Pop Pilates / Blogilates, Cassey Ho is very chatty, but really knows her stuff and if you sign up on her website she puts a new fitness plan on there every month.

I do a combination of Yoga with Adriene (much slower/calmer) and Body Balance as part of Les Mills on Demand (more yoga/pilates fitness, much quicker paced).
