I was just on Amazon, about to buy myself a basic old fashioned (but not cheap) scale, when I saw this sleek digital thing that tells you your body fat and bone density etc via an app on your phone. For about the same price.
Mind blown.
Are they any good? And how on earth does a scale know the difference between fat, bone and water etc?
I particularly like the idea of seeing the weight appear on my phone, so I don't have to do a weird balancing squat to try and read the display without affecting throwing the measurement off.
