Third trimester exercise

Can anybody suggest any exercises to do during the third trimester? I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant

On Instagram I follow hannaoeberg who is 39 weeks and still doing and posting lots of gym exercises. Aliceliveing has also started posting some pregnancy workouts which I've done a few times.

Swimming as it helps support the weight

It all depends what you're used to already. I ran, did weights and did yoga.

Going to the toilet Grin My body made a right meal out of pregnancy. I couldn't even get myself off the sofa unassisted by week 39 due to a bad combination of short legs, humungous bump and agonising SPD.

More seriously, keep going with what's comfortable to you and gently adjust to your body's needs which can change quite quickly. Walking, yoga and swimming tend to be quite managable to most. Look out for pre-natal exercise though as some positions aren't comfortable or great for blood pressure (such as inversions). Wide leg movements such as squats or breast stroke can be uncomfortable on the pelvis as joints loosen.

Exactly the same as i did in my first and second trimester. Not ready to give it up - am hoping to keep going until the end as I don't know how long I'll be in c-sec recovery for!
